Double K Stables is a friendly, family owned and oriented farm which since 1978 has been in the business of specializing in teaching beginner riders of all ages. If you want to ride for pleasure or want to show, we will be able to help you fulfill your dreams to be able to enjoy and safely ride horses. You can choose from various disciplines from Western Pleasure, Hunter/Jumper, Dressage, Carriage Driving, or Trail Riding.
You can bring your own horse and polish your skills or smooth out problems or ride/drive on one of our well trained school horses. Students can choose to attend various shows off the farm during the year as well as enjoy our fun shows held two times a year at the farm. Instruction starts at $25.
Trail rides are here on the farm through the pastures, woods, and beside beautiful Lake Bower. Price is $35 per hour, ages 6 and up. First time riders are our specialty. For approved riders we trailer off the farm to the Greenway trail system for longer rides. Prices are $50 for the first hour and $30 for each additional hour.
Also at Double K Stables we offer boarding, either pasture or stall. There are two barns with 12'x12' stalls, seven wash racks, four tack rooms, 42 acres of pasture and three arenas and a round pen. We offer group or private turnout. There are also trails onto the adjacent property and space to park your trailer. We live right along side of the barn and offer 24 hour care. Prices start at $200 for pasture and $325 for stall, both include feed and hay.
We are located about fifteen miles Southeast of Ocala, and are just ten miles away from the trailheads at the Central Florida Greenway or the Ocala National Forest trails.
